$24 A DAY

294 Words | 1 Min 4 Sec Read

You are naturally given $24 a day to spend wherever you like, and depending on where you spend that $24 will determine the direction that your life goes in.

You automatically spend $8 of it on sleep, which only leaves you with $16 leftover, so you have the choice to spend that $16 however you like.

The reason most people are not where they would want to be is because they spend their $16 on the wrong things.

On average, people spend $4 of it on their phones, $8 of it at work on education, and countless amounts on stupid activities that don’t push the needle forward.

However, in order to live the life that you truly want to, you need to spend that $16 with care and allocate it to the things that are pushing you one step closer to your goals.

So, how do you know where to spend your $24?

You have to do some time travelling…

The best way to know where to spend your money is to ask yourself, What would the version of you that has achieved everything you want to spend his $24 on?

This is going to provide some clarity on what you should be spending it on because you’re not going to achieve those things unless you embody the person that already has.

It's similar to the idea that if you want to be a world-class athlete, you can’t train like a beginner and work your way up; you need to do what a world-class athlete would.

You need to eat like one, sleep like one, and train like one; otherwise, you won’t end up being one.

Next time you’re confused about where to spend your $24, ask yourself: Where would future me spend it?

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

You are given $24 every time that you wake up, and where you choose to spend that $24 will determine what you do with your life and the result that you get.

Try it yourself; get a piece of paper and write down '$24', and then start breaking it up into different sections that you’re spending on different things until you find the perfect balance and formula that works for you.

LESSON OF THE DAY ⤵️

“How to empty your mind and improve focus”

Anonymous

In order to empty your mind, you want to create some kind of reset routine. This could involve taking some time off or emptying out your thoughts onto a piece of paper; whatever works for you, make it a common occurrence.

Empyting your mind should be a thing you do consistently, like cleaning the dishes, in order to reset and be able to function at your highest potential.

A lot of people do this through the likes of meditation andnd that meditation helps clear their thoughts and re-focus their mind.
