The Yellow Car Principle 29th

🌳 The Yellow Car Principle

QUOTE OF THE DAY SHARE ME!

"The man who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination."

In simple terms, If you focus solely on the result or outcome the journey will feel like hell. Make an effort to cherish the process and the reward will be much greater

IF YOU'RE LOOKING AT LIFE AS A POSSIBILITY YOU WILL SEE POSSIBILITIES EVERYWHERE, IF YOU'RE LOOKING AT LIFE AS A PROBLEM YOU WILL SEE PROBLEMS EVERYWHERE.

The above is a quote from Sadhguru, whenever people tend to want to make a change they tend to instantly look for problems and look for reasons why whatever they have set out to achieve is impossible because as humans change is uncomfortable so it takes a conscious effort to by-pass your auto-feeling of

'I DON'T LIKE THIS'.

If you're a pessimistic person this will prove hard for you because you're always looking at the negative side of every situation and therefore you will find it and prove your own theory. It's similar to the saying 'If all you're looking for is yellow cars, best believe you will see yellow cars everywhere'.

It's beautifully simple really, change what you think the result is going to be and you will change your reality.

Even though you internally know this is the wrong attitude, it doesn't stop you from falling for the traps of my mind. This quote is a reminder, to you, it doesn't matter what circumstance you are in,

you will make the best of it.

We often wait for a perfect situation, yet you have to realise there really is no perfect situation where your life will magically start changing, only thing is, you can do your best, and that is all that matters. You have to create that perfect moment. You can create the timeline and make that change now where you look back on it in 5 years' time and go 'I remember the first day I started that' otherwise that day will never come.

Assume everything is positive and it will be in reality.

A lot of people severely underestimate the power they have using their own minds. You think its extremely insignificant and it will only impact you however you couldn't be further from the truth.

You best believe it, your mind is the most POWERFUL thing you have and YOU control it, only you. There is a really solid reason why mindset has been so prevalent in history from ancient Japanese culture, wars, great leaders, and scientists, all talk about mindset and how impactful it is so it's not something to ignore.

Try it yourself, the next time you find yourself in a bad situation focus heavily on the positive outcomes no matter how insignificant they may be. Focus on them so much even to a comical point where it seems ridiculous and you'll be surprised how suppressed the reality of the bad situation becomes.

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

There is no one actionable next step, this is a process. You have to train your brain time and time again to think with a positive outlook and not focus on the negative. Your actionable next step is to be conscious of this.

TAKEAWAYS:

You have much more control over your reality than you think.
