šŸŒ³ How To Reinvent Yourself

You have to constantly reinvent yourself, reinvent and evolve and that reinvention is education. There is a common misconception that education as a whole finishes after College/University, meaning that once you graduate you are fully evolved with no need to learn anything more. This couldn't only not be further from the truth but it's the most dangerous mindset to have because this means you are contemptuous, you're comfortable.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

ā€œEverything hangs on oneā€™s thinkingā€¦ A man is as unhappy as he has convinced himself he isā€

Seneca

In simple terms, you have a lot more power over your own emotional state than you think you do. It can be altered in an instant just by the way you think.

HOW TO REINVENT YOURSELF

You have to constantly reinvent yourself, reinvent and evolve and that reinvention is education.

There is a common misconception that education as a whole finishes after College/University, meaning that once you graduate you are fully evolved with no need to learn anything more. This couldn't only not be further from the truth but it's the most dangerous mindset to have because this means you are contemptuous, you're comfortable.

We are always learning whether you consciously think it or not. We are learning from the people around us, the news, books, and social media but if you're not making an effort to learn more about the things that are going to help evolve you into a better person

then you're just as bad as an animal, knowing the bare minimum to get by.

You have to develop a hunger to learn more and as Richard Branson put it 'see life as one long university education that you never had'. You also have to always be the student, regardless of whether you're smarter than the next person they will know something that you don't, no matter how insignificant it is, it could just change your life. Who knows.

The people that don't have this mindset stay where they are, these are the people that you catch at 58 years old working the retail job that they hate, complaining about the current culture and are one unexpected payment away from bankruptcy because they refuse to learn and adapt.

Don't be these people.

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

Find a love to learn, this has to be through a method that you like. Not everyone wants to read books however the majority of people havenā€™t even picked up a book and tried!

There is a plethora of education out there through youtube, courses, and the wide range of social media that is available for you to consume. Pick a starting point and go down your own rabbit hole.

TAKEAWAYS:

Reinvention is extremely important for you to become not only a high-value person but to live a fulfilling life.
