QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.”

SO… YOU WANT THE RARE THINGS IN LIFE?

399 Words | 1 Min 27 Sec Read

You opened this email, presumably because you want the rare things in life.

  • You want high-quality relationships.

  • You want a top-1% physique.

  • You want to make a lot of money.

  • You want to live a life that you’re in control of.

  • You want utter freedom.

If the above sounds right, then you need to understand what it means to obtain those things. It’s pretty obvious that you have to take a rare path.

You may know this but not actually understand it. If you want to be in the top 1% in anything, you have to do what 99% of people either won’t do or aren’t willing to do because that’s the only way you can possibly get there.

While others are consuming meaningless information, you need to be producing valuable information.

While others are wasting their time, you need to be spending it wisely.

It's really as simple as the fact that if you don’t want to be like your average person, don’t do what your average person does. When they turn left, you need to turn right.

This process should feel uncomfortable. It should feel weird because you are doing what's known as ‘going against the norm, which is a psychological term for breaking social conformity—an act that doesn't come naturally and one that you have to force to happen.

What does a rare path actually look like?

A rare path looks like stupidity from the outside.

If you want to go down a rare path in life, then you have to accept the fact that you are slightly delusional.

You have to have such an unwavering belief in your own abilities and your own chances of success that any outside noise doesn’t affect you.

So next time you feel like an outcast to others, like you don’t belong or your mindsets are so unaligned, know that they aren’t heading where you are; therefore, it’s okay; you just have to find your people.

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

If you want the rare things in life, then you have to get into the habit of making rare choices, everything from reading a book over watching Netflix to going on a run instead of playing video games.

Once you get into the habit of doing these things, your behaviour will start to compound into everything else you do.

And that’s how you make a start on living a rare life.
