Seriously, forget all of the business models, the trends, and what's hot at the moment.

The biggest, greatest, and most successful modern-day entrepreneurs are the ones that made a product out of themselves, and in this issue, we are going to show you how you can do the same.

But first, why should you productize yourself?

You have two options when it comes to starting a business: either look at what's in demand and find a gap in the market, or hone in on your skills and build a product or service around what you’re good at.

The former is the more traditional way to go about it, and as time goes on, there are fewer gaps to exploit. The latter, however, is the modern-day way to become an entrepreneur because of the ease of entry, and that's the one you want when starting from scratch.

Productizing yourself means there's no saturation; there's only one you in the world—one you with your specific skills and one you that evolves the way you will, which means you’re not competing against an entire industry from the get-go.

This doesn’t mean that your interests are the only ones that exist, but it does mean that you get to carve the way you want and take your unique approach.

You do what you love, and as they say, if you do that, you’ll never work a day in your life.

The modern-day entrepreneurs that productize themselves are the ones that are able to work 4 hours a day; they are the ones that are in control of how much they work, which means they haven’t created a job for themselves that now controls them, but they are in total control.

Your options are endless.

Theres no specific way to go about doing it when YOU are the business; whether you want to sell courses, digital products, physical products, or your time, thats up to you.

How to Productize Yourself

Honing in on your skills is No.1.

Every entrepreneur that productized themselves started off with the skillset that they had and from there started building out a business around that skillset; therefore, if you’re starting from scratch, start with the skillset that you have and look to see how you can start skill stacking to increase the value.

Next is making a name for yourself.

If you want to start a business around who you are as a person, then you need to put yourself on the map; there's no other way to go about it.

People ultimately buy from people or brands that resonate with them, and to start off, you can’t build a world-class brand; therefore, you need to build trust around who you are as a person, and to do this, you gotta get online!

Start to build out your personal brand, talking about your skills and the problems that you solve.

Take Dan Koe, for example. He talks about entrepreneurship, focus, and living your best life, and he's been doing it for such a long time that he's been able to productize himself and make a fortune.

Find natural problems.

Once you’ve honed in on your skills and have started to make a name for yourself, you now need to look for natural problems within your line of work in order to monetize the solution.

For example, Dan Koe started creating digital products, solving the problems of people wanting to know how to write like him and become entrepreneurs.

You will only be able to discover these problems by getting feedback from your audience about what they love and hate, and when you do, create a product to solve the problems they have.
