THE LAW OF INTENTIONALITY

Change doesn’t just “happen.” You have to will it to happen, you have to make it happen, you have to change your entire relationship with it. Not only that, but you actually have to be aiming at it.

This may seem obvious, but if your intention isn’t to grow, then you won’t grow. It’s so easy to get sidetracked and to let the demands of the modern world make you conform to their priorities.

It’s so much harder to say ‘No! I have priorities of my own, thank you very much.’ But you must do this is if you want to grow.

In the case of growth, your trajectory matters so much more than your current results. It doesn’t so much matter where you are now, but where you’re aiming, and the steps you’re taking today to get there.

You have to be consciously intentional about your intentions, and make it clear in your own life what you want because things won’t come naturally unless you pave the path for them. To do this you have to alter your everyday life to point towards your goals. If you want to become an athlete then you have to eat with the intention of achieving such, you have to spend your free time with that intention, think with that intention.

Once you do this with your everyday life you’ll see edging towards your goals will become natural.
