🌳 The formula to true happiness?!

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"Generally speaking, the Way of the warrior is resolute acceptance of death"Miyamoto Musashi

In simple terms, the acceptance of everything and anything is the only way forward, especially and most importantly inevitable death.

ACCEPT IT, REJECT IT, CHANGE IT

This method of becoming truly happy was first brought to light by Naval Ravikant (an extravagant name I know!) and it's extremely smart, for whatever and every situation that you find yourself in, you have 3 options of how to react to it. You either;

  • Accept it,

  • Reject it or

  • Change it.

Typically you can only do two out of the three or sometimes only one but knowing that you really only have 3 options makes it a much easier decision.

This works in so many cases, let's say for example you got demoted in your job, you can either accept that change, reject that change or change that change! If you choose to try and change it and can't you can either accept it, carry on working at that job or reject it and leave. There really is no other option and this is the case with every scenario you will come into.

This way of looking at life as a whole is much more simple, there is no 'somewhere' in the middle bs. Make a decision to either

accept it, reject it or change it

. Doing all 3 will put you back in the same position that you started in so choose one and stick to it and you'll find your way to true happiness.

TAKEAWAYS:

Don't be overwhelmed with the decisions in life, narrow them down and make it easier to choose. Eliminate the stress and know that you can accept it, reject it or change it.
