How To Ensure That You Fail

We’ve all seen and heard the ‘attributes of success’ and what you have to do in order to get there, from providing value to others to never giving up, so we know what to do. Of course, it's easier said than done, but in principle, we know what we should be doing.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

“In health, marriage, business or any game worth playing…you don’t win by winning. You win by staying alive long enough that you outlast everyone else.”

HOW TO BE SURE THAT YOU FAIL

We’ve all seen and heard the ‘attributes of success’ and what you have to do in order to get there, from providing value to others to never giving up, so we know what to do. Of course, it's easier said than done, but in principle, we know what we should be doing.

But we don’t know what we shouldn’t be doing. What if you knew the things that would guarantee you fail and never make it to where you want to be? Knowing them means you could stay well away from them or, in hindsight, do the complete opposite. You should be doing these things to ensure that you fail:

Don’t take any kind of risk at all because you may do something spectacular by accident. No, seriously, if you take any risk whatsoever, then you’re not necessarily in control of the outcome, and that outcome could accidentally work against you or actually help you. Therefore, in order to ensure you do nothing with your life, don’t take any risks and stay in your cocoon because there you are safe and you know nothing can happen that might accidentally push the needle forward for you.

How do you ensure you don’t take any risks? Don’t try new things, meet new people, say no to absolutely everything, and if you have an opportunity but aren't sure what could come out of it, don't do it!

Envy others; make sure you constantly demise other people for doing something with their lives, because this way you can forever trick yourself into thinking that they have something special that you don't, and that’s the reason you’re not where they are.

This is a safe way of thinking, as it protects your own feelings and therefore gives you further reason to do nothing.

Don’t do anything consistently.

Lastly, please make sure you do nothing consistently because you may actually get good at that thing, and with nothing else but consistency, you may accidentally succeed.

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

If you want to ensure you become a failure in life make sure you follow the above, It will give you your best chance at doing nothing with your life!

TAKEAWAYS:

If you want to ensure you fail do the following:

  • Don’t take any risk

  • Envy others

  • Don’t do anything consistently
