CREATE THE CHANGE IN YOUR TIMELINE

QUOTE OF THE DAY

Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better take things as they come along with patience and equanimity.

Carl Jung

In simple terms, what makes being happy so great is that sadness and darkness exist and what makes sadness so punchful is that happiness exists.

CREATE THE CHANGE IN YOUR TIMELINE

Good morning, this email is your reminder to stop waiting for any kind of perfect moment. Stop waiting for the stars to align and for things to fall into your lap before you take action. Chances are if you have any ambitions or goals that you want to achieve, you’re waiting for ‘the perfect moment’ or for when ‘the time feels right’ although you tend to forget that nothing is stopping you from dropping dead tomorrow. It’s a harsh truth but a reality for you.

You have to make the time right, you have to decide when you want to make that change because no one else will do it for you. No one else has the same interests in yourself as you do therefore you’re truly the only capable person to be able to make that switch. You want to look back 5 years in the future and say to yourself “I remember the first day I did that” or “I remember exactly when I started that” or “can you imagine if I didn’t do that one thing” because that feeling amongst a few others is the best feeling in the world. The feeling of accomplishment and true success, the feeling every man and woman needs to feel.

You control your own timeline so make the change, start that project, that new side hustle because what’s the worst thing that can happen? You fail? In that case welcome failure and know that the worst place you can be is back where you started with the knowledge and skillset to start again and crush it. Message that girl, tell her how you feel because what’s the worst thing that can happen? She says no? GREAT that means you don’t have to live your days regretting and reminiscing on what could have happened although you would have no idea because you didn’t ask her.

Exactly when it feels scary to jump and take the next step that is exactly when you should jump because that’s your lower self talking, your self that likes being comfortable, taking no risks and staying where they are and if you listen to them all your life then you become a no-body with an unfulfilled life.

How do you know when the right time is?

It’s when you get this nagging feeling when you notice yourself constantly coming back to the thoughts of ‘what if I just…’. When you feel like you want more and what you’re currently doing isn’t fulfilling you enough. When you start to become hungry to the point where nothing would satisfy you as much as doing or starting that thing.

That is exactly when you should take the next step and never look back.

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

Do it, make a start on the thing that you’re thinking about right now after reading this issue. Don’t say it’s not the right time, don’t say you have to wait or you’re not ready. Make a start or you will live in regret.

TAKEAWAYS:

You quite literally control your own timeline. Once you realise this you can choose who you want to become.
