It may not be easy to accept, but 99% of our problems are products of our own minds. While external factors might seem convenient to blame, true growth and empowerment come from taking accountability for our actions and decisions.

In the modern world, there is a pervasive lack of personal responsibility, with people often shifting blame onto others. However, by recognizing that it's essentially "you vs. you," you can embark on a journey of self-improvement and actual change.

If you blame others then ultimately you're not in control of the situation. Someone else is and you're just being affected by it so flip that on its head. No matter how much control you have over the situation, take accountability for the parts you can control and take action to resolve them.

It's true that no one understands your problems and it may frustrate you to hear this but The Kaizen is about being brutely truthful in order to help you grow. If we were to beat around the bush on these kinds of topics then we are not serving you to our full potential.

The majority of problems however are created in your own head. Everything is a perception of what you have been taught and experienced therefore what you consider a problem may not be in truth.

For example, a common one is feeling self-conscious when you're in public. Maybe you're having a bad hair day or you think people are judging the way you look when in reality no one cares about you. Everyone is thinking the same thing about themselves and is so focused on how they present themselves that it's all they're focused on.

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

Think about the problems in your own life, what parts of them do you have control over and which parts of them do you have control over but are telling yourself you don't?

TAKEAWAYS:

Remember that if you're not in control of your own head, feelings and thoughts then you are ultimately powerless and someone else has control over you.
