3 WAYS TO MONETISE ANY SKILL

Skills by nature don’t mean much; they don’t have any inherit value, nor can you make money off them unless you use them in the right manner.

You could be stuck on a desert island and have the skill of 10000x’ing the size of any business, but it means nothing because, well, You’re stuck on a desert island.

So, here are 5 ways to monetise any skill you like so that your skills do have value and you can sell them where and how you please.

Method 1: Make it results-generating.

Money-making skills typically have 2 outcomes:

  • Producing results

  • Being a convenience

One of those two things makes your skill 10x more valuable because of the outcome that someone can generate from it—that being results-generating.

Think of it like this: The reason video editing isn’t fundamentally a high-income skill yet funnel building is because video editing is a convenience; it saves someone time.

Yet funnel building makes someone money—you want to make sure that your skill generates someone a tangible result because then then people will be willing to pay you a premium for it.

Method 2: Make your offer ‘no brainer.’

Your offer is the packaging of your service, and if your offer is no-brainer enough, then you can add multiple zeros to your price tag and no one will blink an eye.

Your offer is what makes someone absolutely want your service or not, and if it's not crystal clear what's in it for them, then no matter how good your service is, no one will buy it.

Method 3: The market you choose.

You can sell the same service to 2 different markets and make a polar opposite amount of money, the reason being that your skill is only as valuable as the person who needs it.

You could be a photographer and take photos of gardens or be a photographer and take photos of exclusive corportate events, and the money you would make would be 10x.

Why is this? Simply because some people need your skills more than others, and due to the demand, they will be willing to pay more money for it.
