šŸŒ³ The 3 Types Of People In Your Life

You fundamentally have 3 different types of people in your life and itā€™s important to understand what kinds of people they are because some possess negative qualities which you need to make sure you get rid of before they take a toll on you.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"If life were predictable it would cease to be life and be without flavor."

Eleanor Roosevelt

In simple terms, what makes life exciting is that you donā€™t know whats going to happen tomorrow. It gives you a reason to be excited as if every day is a challenge, a new mission.

THE 3 TYPES OF PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE

You fundamentally have 3 different types of people in your life and itā€™s important to understand what kinds of people they are because some possess negative qualities which you need to make sure you get rid of before they take a toll on you.

This is from the ā€˜Tree analogy of peopleā€™ by Tyler Perry - Its something youā€™re going to want to stick around and read.

  1. The Leaf people

  2. The Branch people

  3. The Root people

LEAF PEOPLE:

Your first kind of people are your Leaf people, these are people who come into your life just for a season. You can't depend on them because they are weak. They only come to take what they want, but if the wind comes they will leave. You need to be careful of these people because they love you when things are okay, but when the wind comes they will leave you.

We all have leaf people in our lives and they are the most dangerous because they are emotional leeches and good manipulators. They come into your life and fit right in, they are the missing piece of the puzzle that you needed to feel complete yet they can go in an instant and like ripping off a plaster they take a bit of you with them every time. You have to try and assess these people beforehand. Look for qualities such as timing, selfishness, too good to be true and youā€™ll be able to spot these people from a mile away.

BRANCH PEOPLE:

Your second kind of people are Branch people, they are strong, but you need to be careful with them too. They break away when life becomes tough and they can't handle too much weight. They may stay with you in some seasons, but they will go when it becomes harder.

They are similar to Leaf people but just more resilient and possibly more dangerous as they form more of a connection but again can disappear at an instant. Branch people do offer some positives however, they provide insight and experience and they are the kind of people that even when they are gone, you think to yourself ā€˜im glad we made those memoriesā€™.

ROOT PEOPLE:

Your final kind of person is your Root people, these people are very important because they don't do things to be seen. They are supportive even if you go through a difficult time they will water you and they are not moved by your position they just love you like that ...

It's not all people you meet are your friends that will stay with you.

Only the root type of people will stay no matter the season.

These people you will know throughout your whole life and you may not give enough credit to them as they arenā€™t as emotionally penetrating as your leaf or branch people but if you didnā€™t have them you would have crumbled long ago.

Cherish your Root people

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

Understand these 3 characteristic types and start to analyse people in your life and decide upon which ones they are.

TAKEAWAYS:

It can be quite shallow to narrow down all the people in your life to 3 characteristics however being able to make decisions based on what you already know is all you need in life. The tee people analogy is a blueprint for that.
