We are 11% Into 2024

That's right, we are 11% of the way through 2024 as of February 10th. This is not a fact to scare or worry you, but to remind and inspire you that time will keep ticking whether you like it or not.

WE ARE 11% INTO 2024

That's right, we are 11% of the way through 2024 as of February 10th. This is not a fact to scare or worry you, but to remind and inspire you that time will keep ticking whether you like it or not.

Days, weeks, and months will pass just as likely as the sun will rise and fall, so we thought that we would share a few ways that you can grab the rest of 2024 by the horns and make the most of it.

Work on your skills.

Your skills are the make-up of who you are as a person; they are your hobbies, your passion, what you’re good at, and how people perceive you.

“Oh yeah, I know John; he’s that [insert skill here] guy, right?”

Therefore, it only makes sense to constantly work on improving your skills and developing them as time goes on.

Never think that you are the best of the best at what you do, because, well, where do you go from there?

Connections compound

Spend 2024 making as many connections as you possibly can because connections tend to compound.

The effort that you put in to meet new people never shows right away.

It takes time and nurturing before those connections benefit you, but you have to make a start somehow.

Embrace discomfort

Thirdly, do something every single day that makes you uncomfortable because discomfort is the doorway to growth. Everything and anything good comes from being uncomfortable, and training yourself to do things that you don’t want to will help you grow.

ACTIONABLE NEXT STEPS:

1) Pick high-value, high-income skills that you can develop and improve and go all in on them; become the best you possibly can at those skills. If you don’t know where to start, here are 7 high-value skills to choose from.

2) Go out of your way to meet new people; don’t wait for them to come to you. Join groups, forums, and communities and become the most valuable person in those communities in order to attract other like-minded people.

3) Thirdly, do something every single day that makes you uncomfortable, because discomfort is the doorway to growth. This can be as simple as a cold shower or waking up early, and then you build up from there.

LESSON OF THE DAY ⤵️

“How do I find the balance between feeling content and happy where I am without getting complacent (I am not where I would like to be but am making progress)”

- Anonymous

You need to learn to love the journey because the man who loves walking will walk much further than the man who loves the destination.

What's meant by this is that if you’re always chasing some place that you’re not, then you will never feel content; there will always be this nagging feeling in the back of your mind that will invariably make you depressed.

Each new day is a milestone and should be treated as such.
